A great experience - come early if you want to avoid the queue. We were on train no. 2 at 8:30 (thursdag July 9, 2026) - and the first gondola opens at 10. Beautiful to be there as the sun broke out behind the mountain. You can buy food, drinks, sunglasses (15 EUR) and souvenirs at the top. When we arrived back down, there was a long queue for the next train going up, but maybe everyone could be on the same train.

We really enjoyed our trip, it brought home the huge impact global warming is having on the world. We actively are going to do more as a family to help reduce this impact. This is a great value trip, we loved the train and gondola and the ice cave was out of this world. Thank you to the whole team

An excellent experience, we arrived early and there were no queues. The train ride is memorable with great views The gondola is also enjoyable with brilliant views of the mountains and glacier The ice cave is incredible with plenty of information about how it has been built and maintained.
