The Ice Cave and the Cable Car will be closed from September 28 through October 16.
From October 17 to November 1, the Ice Cave will be closed.
The Montenvers Train will be closed from November 2 through December 4.
Once at Montenvers, take the gondola to access to the Mer de Glace glacier
Once you've reached Montenvers from Chamonix by cog railway, a new adventure awaits you: a gondola lift will take you to the Mer de Glace glacier.
Please note: Access to the cave is by staircase, with around 170 steps.
PRM access is not possible.
