Penetrate the innards of the Mer de Glace. Please note 170 steps each way from the top of the gondola.

Every weekend from June 13 to September 13 & every day from July 1 to August 31 – Bottom station of the cable car or the Panoramic terrace: Come meet a glaciologist, who will share insights into landscape interpretation and provide key information about the Mer de Glace and the world of glaciers.

From Montenvers, a suspended trail begins that, like a balcony, winds between rocks and alpine meadows. It gently leads to Plan de l’Aiguille, offering breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks at every step

The Refuge du Montenvers is a place steeped in history and authenticity. Built in 1880 to accommodate the first mountaineers and travellers to visit the Mer de Glace.

Mountain restaurant: mixed salads, quiches, dish of the day, pastries, homemade pastries. In summer, homemade ice creams and sorbets...
